Silent-Aire Opens Carina Facility:
Strengthening Alberta’s Data Center Industry

Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls company, is excited to announce the grand opening of Carina—its largest and fifth manufacturing facility in Canada. Located in Nisku, Alberta, the state-of-the-art facility spans 145,000 square feet, housing two manufacturing lines and creating opportunities for over 200 employees.

On April 8, 2025, Silent-Aire officially marked this milestone with a celebratory event attended by distinguished guests, including Alberta’s Minister of Technology and Innovation, Nate Glubish, and MLA Brandon Lunty, alongside leadership from Silent-Aire and Johnson Controls.

As a lighthouse facility, Carina underscores Silent-Aire’s dedication to innovation and advanced manufacturing. This expansion strengthens global capabilities while contributing to Alberta’s economic growth
